A recording studio in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds
Built for sound.
Made for artists.
Queen Street Sound is a creative home for emerging and established artists alike.
We specialise in capturing the rich and authentic sound of people playing and making music in real time, the emphasis firmly on creativity and quality.
We want everyone who comes through the door to feel inspired and at ease in a friendly, supportive atmosphere.
The studio
A place to make great music.
Situated in a historic building in Louth, a short distance from the sea, Queen Street Sound is a unique recording facility designed and built by Keith Angel.
Our studio is rooted in an adventurous and collaborative approach to sound and performance. And it’s this relaxed atmosphere that brings out the best ideas and most natural, spirited performances.
For three decades Keith has recorded and produced internationally-renowned artists across folk, world, jazz, classical and early music.
His work includes soundscapes and audio pieces for BBC Radio 2 and Radio 4.
Keith has a long-standing commitment to supporting local and emerging artists, and to ground-breaking educational initiatives - our studio reflects that same spirit.

From folk and jazz to classical and contemporary, we work with a wide range of artists - every recording is approached with the same care and attention.
